“We know where we’re going and we know who’s going with us….”, but where have we been?? Scroll down to find out……September 2019 onwards, our fourth year
Friday 21st August 2020 Thwarted by the virus and then the wind! Our meeting on what would have been the last day of this year’s dig was affected by the strong wind. Some of you couldn’t make it for safety reasons and we really missed you. Those who did were buffeted and blown and scrambled to chase finds and photos that were blown across the field. We did, though, meet and it was so good to see all of you who were able to make it. Thank you all for your continued support, your purchases and donations, without you there would be no Aylsham Roman Project. We keep our fingers crossed that next year will be different.
Thursday 20th August 2020 A first for us! Peter and Sheila gave an on-line talk to The Rotary Club of Aylsham, UK about our history and finds via a presentation and live images of some finds. Thank you for asking us and another thank you for your very kind donation to our funds. So involved, never got round to taking any photos!
